Punctual ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Punctual handles information when you use our iOS application.

Our Privacy Commitment

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• We do not track your location
• We do not collect usage analytics or statistics
• We do not use third-party tracking or advertising services
• We do not create user accounts or profiles
• We do not transmit any data to external servers

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

Punctual stores the following information locally on your device only:

Timeline Data

• Event names and descriptions you create
• Activity durations and times you specify
• Timeline calculations

This data is stored using iOS UserDefaults and never leaves your device.

Custom Templates

• Template names and activities you create
• Template suggestions you configure

Custom templates are stored locally in your device's app storage and are not backed up to iCloud or any external service.

Permissions We Request

Reminders Access

Punctual requests access to your iOS Reminders to create reminder notifications for your timeline activities. This is optional - you can use the app without granting this permission.

What we do with Reminders access:

• Create reminders for your timeline activities (only when you explicitly request it)
• Read existing reminders to avoid duplicates

What we DO NOT do:

• We do not access reminders created by other apps
• We do not share reminder data with any third parties
• We do not store reminder data outside of iOS's Reminders app

Calendar Access

Punctual requests write-only access to your iOS Calendar to create calendar events for your timeline activities. This is optional - you can use the app without granting this permission.

What we do with Calendar access:

• Create calendar events for your timeline activities (only when you explicitly request it)

What we DO NOT do:

• We do not read your existing calendar events
• We do not share calendar data with any third parties
• We do not access calendars created by other apps

Data Sharing and Export

User-Initiated Sharing

Punctual allows you to export and share your timelines through iOS's standard sharing features:

• Text Export: Generate a text summary of your timeline
• Calendar File Export (.ics): Create an iCalendar file you can import into other calendar applications

These exports are only created when you explicitly request them, and are shared using iOS's native sharing sheet - we have no control over or access to where you choose to share them.

Data Storage and Security

• All app data is stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage mechanisms
• We use iOS's built-in security features to protect temporary files
• No data is transmitted over the internet
• No data is stored on external servers
• If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently deleted

Children's Privacy

Punctual does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app can be safely used by users of all ages.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Third-Party Services

Punctual does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your data:

• All data is stored locally on your device
• You can delete individual timelines or templates at any time within the app
• You can revoke Reminders or Calendar permissions in iOS Settings → Punctual
• Deleting the app removes all associated data from your device
